Vampires are one of the most dangerous breeds of creatures that the darkness has given us. The beauty and seduction of succubi with the cannibalistic bloodlust of ogres. They are hunters of mankind who love nothing more than to enjoy us, use us, abuse us, and then dispose of us. They are predators and parasites.

But they weren’t always like this. Vampirism is a curse and a disease that is, more often than not, forced onto its victim. Most vampires were turned into these unholy abominations against their will, forced to become addicted to blood and allergic to sunlight. They become what they are not because they enjoy it, but because they have done it for so long in order to simply survive, that it has become second nature to them. Their minds have adapted to unsee the immorality of their actions so that they retain a small semblance of sanity.

Perk: Blood Drain: Whenever you inflict a Physical Wound on another character within Close Range, you will gain Drain Points; 1 for a Minor Wound, 2 for Significant, 4 for Grievous, and 8 for a Destroyed Wound. You may spend these Drain Points as if they were Sigils, but only for arcane or supernatural powers and abilities. All unspent Drain Points disappear at the end of a session.

Quirk: Sunblight: You may not spend Sigils during daylight hours. Whenever you are in direct sunlight, you roll twice for all Skill Checks and must use the worst result.

Equipment: Vampires are clad in archaic, but elegant leather attire that grants them an Armour Value of 5. They eschew ranged combat, as they need to be up-close-and-personal in order to draw blood from their victim. Therefore, you may find them armed with Light Melee Weapons as elegant as their armour: stiletto knives, rapiers, thin sabres and palm daggers.
